The Christmas tree finally went up today – yes I know it’s later than most people put up their tree but that’s how we roll here. Once everything was in place and before it got too dark I pulled out the camera and tripod to do a few pics. My first focus was the tree itself and my favourite was the Angel at the top of the tree.

The blue light in the background was because the sun had set by this time and we were in the blue hour. There is also some nick knacks scattered around but I really like this Frosty snow globe.

The glow is from the tree which is just off to the left and the light behind is coming in from the large bay window. It’s always fun to try to get some unique photographs of the same decorations every year š
