Beaches and Stars

Our last night at Killbear a couple of us went out to the beach to try our hand at star photography.

I did learn one thing about shooting with the 15mm fisheye – it really blurs the edges once you try to fix the distortion. Something I hadn’t considered before.

We didn’t stay too long as we had a nice warm fire waiting for us back at the campsite and the temps were a little chilly but the few shots I was able to get I was happy with. I still have loads of practicing to do to get better but I’m looking forward to getting out there.
