I had been looking to get out to the Guild Inn located on the east side of Toronto. So finally I hopped in my car at about 4pm and started to drive out to the site. Without thinking I ended up on the Gardiner during the first weekend of its closure due to construction. Ah yes, construction season is now upon us. So my 45 minute drive ended up taking 2 full hours. Luckily at this time of year the best light is around 6-7pm.
Not knowing what to expect when I drove to the Inn I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful garden hidden behind the closed inn. Here are some of the items to be found at the Guild Inn gardens.
