On the Sunday before Valentines day a couple of photographers and I went to the annual Orchid show in Toronto’s Edwards Gardens. After our allotted time with tripods and large cameras we were told our time was up. Now that just means the tripods had to hit the road but the cameras could stay (sorry tripods).
My friend told me about a very interesting feature in the canon point and shoot cameras. Now I’ve had my camera for just over three years and yes I don’t use all the presets. There is a very nifty feature called colour accent. This little guy allows you to select a colour within your scene and turns everything else black and white. Um…hello? Why did I not know about this feature?
Well needless to say for about an hour I played and played and played. Here are a few of the results.
