After a short shopping trip to a store just off the highway I decided to quickly take a peek at Lower Balls Falls. I’ve passed the sign for this conservation area every time I head to Niagara and never once have I stopped by to check this out until today. Even with the threat of rain in the air I decided to chance it. Soon after parking and gathering my gear a light drizzle started to fall. I decided to let this not deter me in the least as this was a short visit. I was happy that I did travel down the short path to the lower falls. Here are some of the photographs I got:

A pretty successful side trip to the lower falls. Next time I will spend a little more time and head to the upper falls too.
