It was cold and windy today and the beginning of the trail was very open. The good thing about this is the beautiful views from high above the valley floor.
Gloomy Skies
The trail soon takes a drastic turn taking down, down, down into the valley below. The hike back up the hill will be a terrible one but what can you do.
Wooden Steps
Today I’m only able to make it a couple of kilometers before the legs refuse to take me any further. Actually it was probably the thought of having to go back up the crazy high hill that made me turn back much sooner than I should have.
