Normally I would like the fact that we are having a warmer winter but I do have to say that it poses a problem for photographs. I went out to continue along the Caledon section and was so uninspired by my hike that it made me sad to see no snow. I know! I actually uttered the words – I want snow. Mostly because I have enough photographs of the bare trees and the brownness of forest. Only an occasional grouping of evergreens keeps things different. Needless to say it was hard to find something to photograph but I could not end my hike empty-handed. Hiking past a small creek which was edged with ice gave me some inspiration after a long hike.

Sometimes pushing your creativity to the max allows you to find photographs when you dig deep inside.
