It’s been over a month since I’ve been on the Caledon portion of the Bruce Trail. Picking up the trail on the south end of the Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Reserve the trail headed straight up hill. The warm temps have made the trail a little more challenging than normal for this time of year. Many icy patches can be found along the trail and it seemed they were only really icy when I was heading up steep hills.
As you can see from the photo there isn’t much snow even up here. Apparently there will be some tomorrow but so far there is not much in site. Most of my hike was me concentrating on my time-lapse photos and not slipping off a hill. That being said I did notice this gem.
Of course how could one not notice the blue crushed car. I spent a little time photographing the car at different angles before heading back along the trail.
