Some Brampton Photo Club Members got together late this afternoon for a walk around the downtown area of Brampton. Parking at City Hall we headed north along Main Street and I went a little bit of a sign binge but I’ll keep it down to one for this post.
Our first stop was the Brampton GO station where I found a plethora of things to photograph and it was tough to choose which ones to add here. Walking through the tunnel I captured one of the stairwells as we entered.
Heading up to the platform I took this photograph of the Bicycle rack. I’ve thought of shooting this more than a few times with my trusty point and shoot but never pulled it out for some reason or other. This time I had my D-SLR and a tripod which meant some HDR action was required.
I have always loved their bike “sculpture” and with those lovely clouds behind it, it shouted out to be photographed. Heading east away from the train station we headed along Church Street . My favourite shot of the church we came across was taken with my iPhone on the Instagram app.
With dusk approaching the cooler temps started to get a little uncomfortable, so we headed back towards our cars.
