After my hike at Borer’s Falls I decided to do a couple of errands before heading home. One of my stops was to do a quick scouting trip at Hamilton Cemetery. My next planned photo outing with the Brampton Photo Group asks that the members challenge themselves with using their film cameras and I thought what would be better than a cemetery, especially one that has mausoleums.
So in my scouting of the area I found so many things to shoot, I just couldn’t stop myself. Thank goodness I had my DSLR. I will definitely be bringing the group here. Here is a sample of one of the vaults scattered among the regular gravestones.
My favourite thing about older cemeteries is the elaborateness of the headstones. Some have statues incorporated in them.
I’m looking forward the bringing the group here in the early morning hours.
