Over the past few weeks in preparation for a presentation I was to prepare for the Brampton Photo Group meeting I’ve been working on my abstract photography skills. As I’ve been playing around more with this technique I found out that it really can be a lot of fun. My first attempt was while I was walking the Bruce Trail. I hiked into a patch of trees that seemed to scream out for some sort of motion blur. Here is one of my favourite shots from that day.
Then my second attempt was in my mother’s garden. The Hyacinths were in full bloom and with the background greens it turned out to be another fav.
So last night I did my very short presentation and then sent the group out to play around with what they learned. Everyone had a great time and once I got started I just couldn’t stop.
We are lucky enough to nice a venue. Our second floor meeting room has a balcony that overlooks Professor’s Lake. We have one more meeting left and I’m looking forward to summer and the outings we will be planning for the group. I really learned a lot this year and I thank everyone who came out and had fun with us.
