Back in the garden again today. This time I worked on being a little more creative in what I shot. To start I decided to photograph something that I normally wouldn’t think to photograph – dill weed.
It is a rather pretty weed isn’t it? Its yellow flowers eventually turns into solid seeds that you would use to pickle whatever it is you want to pickle. Of course my mother still has tons of flowers – particularly roses. I decided to go black and white on this specific one.
I like the harshness of the image considering most would think of a rose as something fragile.
