I just happened to look out my window tonight and there it was. Hanging low in the sky. The half-moon. I grabbed my Sigma 50-500mm and slapped it on to the camera before heading out to shoot this subject to death.

I have come to appreciate all the other phases of the moon because of the amount of detail you can get along that line of light and dark since taking an astrophotography course.
