Michelle and I drove up to Awenda Provincial Park for our annual Family & Friends Camping Weekend. We were the first to come up with others planning to show up on Friday. After setting up our tent in the humid temps we thought we would head down to the beach to cool off. As we sat on the beach I decided that the clouds and the colours were just to good to pass up so I trekked back up the hill to the car to get my gear.
In the photo above I used my ND 3.0 or 10 times filter which allows very long exposures. Taking the long exposure allows you to make the water silky and the clouds smoothen out. Of course landscape shots of the area is not the only thing you can find on the beach. I wanted to also play with some macro shots.
This stone has the same colours of the surrounding sand seeming to give the impression that the surrounding sand came from a similar stone. Our bellies started grumbling so we headed back to the campsite to get dinner started and get our evening fire going.
