The alarm woke us up at 530 am this morning and we slowly dragged our butts out of bed. Hopping into the car we drove as the dawn approached.We headed directly to the lighthouse where the sun was to come up just to the right of it.
Break-wall at Dawn
As I waited for the sun to make an appearance I looked around to find some interesting clouds and foreground. The above photo shows the only clouds in the sky that morning. The foreground is the break-wall close to the lighthouse.
First Light
I didn’t have to wait too long before the sun finally made its appearance above the horizon and as predicted it came up just to the right of the lighthouse. After I had my fill of the sunrise we headed back to camp and to bed.
