My parents and I left Bobcaygeon at the same time in separate cars. Both of us heading towards home. My goal was to check out some sights on the backroads towards home. My first stop was Fenelon Falls just a short drive from Bobcaygeon.
I spent some time walking around the falls and the canal. I watched a couple boats make their way in to reach the higher lake above.
I decided to move on to Lindsay where I had read about the ruins of an old mill.
It was a particularly good location for a mill as there was easy access and a lovely path had been put around it. Just across the river from it was another run down building.
This one I found out used to be a local market at some point. I really loved the clouds and the reflection on this one. Eventually I decided I should really try to make it home and I eventually did four hours later. It took me twice as long to get home than my parents but I got some great shots because of it.
