Monday started out very cold and eventually just warmed up to cold. No one wants to venture out and I certainly didn’t. As soon as I got home from work I quickly got into my warm sweats and boiled up some water for a mug of steamy hot tea to warm myself up.

That’s when the idea popped in my head for the shot above. This whole process of taking a shot a day is already taking its toll on coming up with ideas. Especially since getting out into the cold was not necessarily an option at the end of the day. The good thing is I’m learning to work with indoor lighting and still life rather than landscapes. It’s always good to stretch your talent into areas you are not comfortable with.
