I needed a new destination and I really was hoping to get of the glimpse of a wild snowy owl; these two things were what had me driving out to Colonel Sam Park in Etobicoke.

I was able to check off the new destination part but no such luck on the snowy owl even though one had been sighted here yesterday. It did give the chance to play with long exposure and to wander this new photo destination to see its potential for further visits.

Although the day was gloomy the sun still had some say as the golden hour approached.

There were also some great views of the city from here. A definite potential for another day’s photo outing.
