Colours of Oakville Harbour

I am attending a workshop this weekend out in Burlington and a couple of the members of the Brampton Photo Group are here as well. I was able to convince one of them to come out on a sunrise shoot before the second day of the workshop. We decided on Oakville harbour as our shoot location and I was pleased that we did.

Upon arrival I saw this bench and lamp silhouetted with the colours of the soon to rise sun behind it. The bench beckoned to me to sit for a spell as the sun rose in the distance. I had other plans as I headed down to the rocky shore just below and found this rocky pier.
I preferred this photo in the black and white to give it a little more drama. There is a pier that runs along side this rocky version and at its end stands the lighthouse.
I was having so much fun with this location but the sun was soon up and it was time to get some breakfast before the workshop started. I will be back again soon.
