My friend Brad Quarrington of Brad Quarrington Photography invited me up north for a last minute shoot. Our subject for the evening – fireflies!! We were heading to a household close to Flesherton that has these yearly visitors amass in the hundreds on their property in mid to late June. Our hopes this evening was to catch them at the height of their numbers.

So needless to say their numbers were on the low side. We still had a lot of fun hanging out watching them blink across the field and some in the trees. We will definitely be back next year.
