Brad Quarrington called me up at work today asking if I would come up to Flesherton that night. Fog was in the forecast and I had agreed to be a model for some of Brad’s ideas. So after work I headed north with all sorts of gear in tow. Getting to his place after sunset we hung out awhile before heading out to the shores of Collingwood. Tracey Quarrington, Brad’s lovely wife, joined us to help us with some of the shots.

I was able to sneak a photographs for myself as I froze my butt off waiting for Brad to setup.

After getting the shots that Brad wanted I was able to get into my warm clothes again and the three of us headed over to the haunted house to try out some other ideas. Once we got there we found the gate locked so it looked like we were out of luck but we still had a few tricks up our sleeves. As we got out of the car we heard mooing off in the distance as Brad started setting up his gear. A few minutes later shadows started moving towards us and as they got closer the shapes turned into a herd of cows. Once they got up close they stopped moving and just stared in our direction.

I’ve never seen any animal stand still for so long – it started to creep me out. The cows soon realized they were not going to get much out of us and started to move along. We decided it was time to do the same.
