Tonight I had the opportunity to get abroad Clockwork, a sailing yacht out of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. Why was I aboard a yacht? Because it was Race Night of course! I was there to photograph from amidst the race. It made for some interesting shooting. While photographing I still had to keep out of the way of the sailors as they grabbed ropes and darted from side to side.

During the beginning of the race the light was more on the blah side with overcast skies but as the sun started going down it broke through and I was delighted as golden light poured in through the gaps in the clouds. A great night!
