Yesterday I drove up highway 50 on my way to a wedding and noticed a couple of photo opportunities by the roadside. So today, after resting up from the wedding, I headed out to explore the Palsgrave area and some of the pretty places that stood out to me.
There is a roadside parking lot for Palgrave’s park which makes the nearby lake and river easily accessible. I still have a lot to explore in this area but this morning’s goal was to photograph the gems along the roadside rather than hike into the park.
This bunch of yellow trees amongst some evergreens stood out as I drove by heading north out of Palgrave. I originally passed it to see what else was further up but when I turned back to find it again it took me a couple of tries to find it again. Closer to Bolton, as I headed southbound, is the ruins of a barn – coincidentally its by the roadside.
I think this may have been the spot where I lost some step up rings but nevertheless I was happy with this find. And so ended my morning in Palgrave.
