Since I didn’t find many colours of fall at the Guildwood Inn I decided to try much closer to home at Claireville Conservation area.
Autumn Path
During my walk through the park I found lots of brown and not a ton of red with autumn leaving this area sooner than I had hoped. I did however, find some lone leaves clinging to the trees.

Yet still as I continued to walk the trails brown was the predominant colour as the trees have officially gone into their hibernation mode – ready to take on the long winter months.
It is hard to find inspiration when the world around you has changed to a beige to dark brown tone. The key is to keep looking to find the small things that stand out among these dreary monotone colours.
