It’s a grey Sunday in the city and I have had enough of winter and cold temps. Most Sundays I try to stick close to home especially with the weather being so blah but today I had other plans. Brad Quarrington Photography put together a styled bridal shoot and invited me along for the ride. Thankful for the opportunity but wishing it was nicer out I drove northwards to Brad’s place and then to the farm he booked for the shoot. Whinny Acres Guest Ranch is a great place to visit and get your horse riding fix. They were amazing getting the horses ready and putting up with all of us (we’re not that bad, honestly). Our “bride” was lucky enough to get taken around on a horse drawn sleigh to all the sites we picked out on the large ranch.
Also in our favour was the lightly falling snow which stayed with us for the entire shoot. Dana Marlee looks amazing; those flowers are perfection and were supplied by Petal In Thyme. By the end of the shoot they were frozen solid. Poor things.
The fabulous dress was supplied by Exchanging Vows Bridal Boutique with hair and makeup done by Envious Hair Studio & Medical Spa.
Dana was a trooper shivering in the cold, late afternoon. Thank you all for donating your time and energy on making this all a hugely successful shoot. Now go home and warm up!
