Okay not really lost. I just got sidetracked and completely missed the turn. And I didn’t get that far before I realized it. Although it is one of worries sometimes on the trail. It can be a creepy place at times and at others the most wonderful experience. It really can depend on your own mood and that of the trees.
Long Shadows
One of the issue may be that the days are much shorter which mean the trees loom a little more – I think that their long shadows are to blame.

Or maybe its these tree tunnels that mother nature kindly creates. The one above is on the pretty side but there are others that make you wonder a little more than normal.

But regardless of my feelings on the trail I must continue to make my way. Tobermory is getting closer every hike.
